ITS NZ sponsored by HMI Technologies held the seminar named the  The Matrix Revealed. The highly interesting and informative seminar was  lead by Dr. David Arnold CEO & President of Wavetronix.

Dr Arnold discussed the development of the modern day radar and how Wavetronix utilises the technology on the road networks to increase performance and reduce accidents.

Dr. Arnolds up front and honest responses to questions fielded was much appreciated by all the delegates, all of those that attended left understanding both the benefits and limitations of radar technology. Limitations aside the benefits of using any of the Wavetronix radar’s over alternative technologies became self apparent, advantages such as cost effectiveness and easy installation, high accuracy and extended life span were all attributes  not overlooked.

Following the seminar all delegates where treated to helicopter style views over the city and harbour accompanied with a  morish 3 course meal in the Orbit revolving restaurant atop the Sky Tower.
