HMI Technologies is proud to donate to Randwick School in Hutt City a complete school zone sign installation. The School will receive 2 Smart School Zone Signs proven to increase driver awareness of the fact they are coming into the area of a school. The signs are wirelessly activated by the school to only come on during peak morning arrival and afternoon leaving times.

Through the video submission the students have demonstrated that their school is located on a busy road where drivers are often unaware that a school located. Thanks to the Trafinz Board who judged all the submissions and selected Randwick School as the North Island winner.

The Inaugural opening will be on Monday  11th of October at the School, this will be attended by the Hutt City Mayor and representatives from HMI, Hutt City Council, President of Trafinz & the students and teachers involved.

The South Island winner North Loburn Schools installation will aim to be completed within the next month.
