Advanced Warning Signs
HMI has developed a Variable message sign designed to inform drivers of upcoming hazards, or other vital traffic information. The sign has been designed and engineered with consideration given to display capabilities, size and weight; this has meant the sign is lightweight yet still large enough to be placed in most strategic locations.
The sign is a full matrix allowing it to display 3 rows of text or a combination of graphics and text. Recently a large order of these signs has been fulfilled to NZTA under their traffic demand management system. Currently these signs are installed and operating across Auckland’s Southern Motorway from Hobson Street to Papakura.
