HMI’s commitment to continually improving road safety has lead the R&D team to develop a school bus sign that flashes, ensuring passing drivers are made aware of the possible hazard of children alongside or crossing the road. The sign is designed with two 100mm amber LED flashers that have an alternating flashing pattern, in combination with this the school children image is created with a high contrast reflective material.

The slim line design means the sign has no protruding parts allowing it to be conveniently folded so to hide the children’s image when the bus is not being used to transport school children.
