Designed as an addition to the Multi-sport scoreboard for those specialised sports such as basketball that have a possession time limit rule.

HMI developed the shot clock as part of NZ Basketball Association possession time limit rule, but it can be customised to suit other sports with a similar rule. It displays a countdown timer for 24 and 14 seconds every time possession is taken, a game timer is also displayed.
